Is there any way to do this without getting a crappy PQ on the surf bar. I find that really annoying so I just leave it in 1080i rather than native.

I would like that functionality too. I don't think you can do it presently.

How is this different than just setting the STB to native resolution by pressing the red button until all the lights light up? I haven't tried it in a while, but last time I set it that way the surf bar had really bad PQ. I know this will sound strange but I like to have good PQ on my surf bar.

Over the last few days I've noticed a lot of brief blackouts on the premium movie channels. Today it happened while watching Signs and um er mona lisa smile. I don't recall what channels these were on. Plus I've noticed a lot of times when I turn to a channel there is no sound until I flip...

But I don't even get channel 311. Does it just show up in the PG on Wednesdays when there is programming?

Is this on channel 312 or 311?

I've never recorded anything on mine but I have noticed a couple of times that my box is a few minutes slow -- either that or the networks are colluding to start their shows a few minutes early.

I only get paper bills and I pay by check. I gave them my credit card details when I signed up but nothing ever came out of my credit card account and on the voom web site my account says "paper bill."

Oh snap, I forgot about leaves. I wonder if the summertime will cause my signals to go down as I am currently dodging some trees. Hope not.

Good news. If it wasn't for the Sopranos I'd drop my HBO pack and pick up the Starz/Encore pack. Maybe after this season finishes.

I had this problem this morning when I was hooking up my SD TV via S-video instead of cable. Generally I just leave my boxes on all the time though and just turn the TV off.
