Once, Castle, SHIELD, Goldbergs among renewals

I loved Galavant!!! It was hard to believe the ratings were as high as they were, but those songs were hilarious!!! Glad to have more than the already-aired four episodes. :D

What New Shows Are On Your "Must See" List?

Broadchurch on BBC was excellent, and David Tennant replays the lead detective in Gracepoint, based on Broadchurch, so I plan on watching Gracepoint too. I read they had changed it so will see which version I like better, but I will be watching! I'll "taste" the others with PTAT. Some I can...

    Crossbones

I was tired of all the police, lawyer, and hospital dramas, so I thought I would give this a try--just for doing something different (even with many of the same elements as the others). It kept my attention and I'm sticking with it, but I realize it's probably doomed.

    Survivor: Blood vs. Water

Yeah, Caleb seemed like he'd be a great guy. Sorry to hear he's gone. RIP

    Amazing Race 24 Allstars

Yeah!!! They're gone. He was just so annoying. I was sure it would be non-elimination, so it was a relief when Phil said, "I'm sorry but..." :D

    Amazing Race 24 Allstars

The ones I most want to go were second to last. :( There are a couple more teams that I wouldn't mind losing, but about 3-4 that I'd like to see win this time. :D

    Haven

Excellent! I look forward to this show more than most! :D

    Almost Human

Karl Urban, the police officer character, Kennex, also played the war lord leader Vaako in The Chronicles of Riddick.

    Almost Human

I enjoy this show a lot. Guess I like recent US shows with "human" in the title--Human Target and Almost Human... :D (But not Being Human).

    Doctor Who

    Sorry. Thanks for correcting me.

    Doctor Who

Loved David Tennant in the role, not so much Matt Smith. I'm willing to give Capaldi a try. Actually, I liked Russel T. Davis's writing more than Peter Moffat's. I just wish the Tennant Doctor had had more scenes with River Song. :D

    The Voice

Totally agree about Christina--she makes everything about herself! Was in the Tessanne camp though. She won it for me last week with Bridge over Troubled Water.

    The Walking Dead on AMC

Umm, yeah, like I said. :D

    Haven

Absolutely, Jimbo. No way to tell if the book will spoil a show or movie without someone checking first. Tell us what you think after you read it, okay?

    Haven

I agree with Derwin0--there's no way reading The Colorado Kid will decrease your interest in or further your knowledge of Haven. King's is a very bare-bones tale. He wrote an afterward where he basically defends the story from, I suspect, criticism at the time it was released. This is one...

    Haven

I just read "The Colorado Kid," and I'm impressed by the writing on this show. To take King's idea to the lengths the writers have is really great for the viewer! This is one of the shows I really look forward to each week, even above other shows that are good but seeming a bit stale to me...

    CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Wishing Nick would return already (I saw the note about Nov 20). Sick of watching Sara all the time. I've never liked that character! Otherwise, excellent start to the season.

    Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Can't stand the lead character, though I wanted to like it. I'm trying to watch two episodes of each new series, but I've given up on several before then. If I can't look forward to watching a show, what's the use?

if you could bring back one show that was cancelled

Unfortunately, many shows I really like end before their time (in my view, of course). I was thinking Life all the way until I saw some others, so top nine for me: Life Firefly Men of a Certain Age Star Trek: Enterprise Human Target Eureka Farscape Sports Night Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip...

    Under the Dome

Burn Notice managed to do it, but Burn Notice is a better show. Still, there seems to be lots of enthusiasm for UTD.

    Under the Dome

I tried to watch the tennis (recorded) and UTD (recorded). Apparently, CBS fracked up both. For the tennis they showed the match on two different channels--no warning, the screen just changed to other programming. The US Tennis Association decided to have the men's semifinals and the final...

    Whodunnit?

I think it's kind of fun--as good as much of what's on at this time of year. Biggest advantage goes to the person who solves the riddle which is the only way one finds out some elements of the crime. That person can share that info with whomever he/she wants--or no one else. The two who do...

    Loving this episode--Kreavers! Ha! :D
