Thanks Hank..Will it accept a sat list from the V7?

Nice review FTA4PA.Thanks.The menus do look identical to the Freesat V7`s..To me that is a good thing as I like what Freesat has done. Does the DBEditor work for this receiver?.Or is there a specific editor created for this particular box?..Can the Sat Channel list be saved and reloaded?

It depends.Is possible. Clear LOS a must..True south here is about 79 and can get all the way down to 8w and lock signals.

My furthest dish is 200 feet away from the switching and another 100 feet from there inside the house.This is with good quality RG6 and Beldon compression fittings....I do have a 500 foot roll of RG11 but really see no need to use it..Skimping on good compression fittings and improperly...

Nope...Nothing here on the east coast.Do not ever recall a signal from this sat.

I would take Titaniums advice and turn the connection down to keep moisture from entering the compression fitting.If you rotate it 180 degrees your signal will be identical.

Really help alot if you went into detail about your system,Dish,LNB and any switching. As far as AMC 9 12154 V 3977 is still active. BTW welcome to Sat Guys and hope you enjoy the hobby.

Enigma 2 can be added to blindscan...Deal breaker for me is if it can or can not do 16APSK...Many 4k feeds are 16APSK.

So true..Have a Enigma 2 receiver here that does not work with a Diseqc 2.0 switch.Just went through this fiasco the other day when I wanted it connected to the entire sat farm..Used a Diseqc 1.2 8x1 and a couple Diseqc 1.2 4x1`s to cascade. What receiver are you using Hank?..What switch...

K9SAT do you mean AVR as Audio Video Receiver?...Should have no probs with either the FFDShow or LAV filters handling AAC audio with the nice rig.

I seriously doubt that transponder will get a lock with a mini bud ( Ku 1.2 ). I am getting that tp with a well tuned 10 foot unimesh at 11.8 db`s..On the plus side it is a dvbs signal so stranger things have happened.

What is the ID of the lnb holder?..There were a couple diff lnb brackets for that dish..Do not have any of those spares the best I can tell from the pic.The extra brackets I have will work but a change of lnb and feedhorn with a C120 flange is needed..Can you throw some calipers and measure the...

Using a sat receiver is not a real good way to know if you are tracking the arc very well.Might get lucky but a sat meter is the best way to go.I use a Sat Hero 300HD here.Not the best but better than a sat receiver.
