Thanks for the correction. Smaller dishes depend a lot on the polarity differences of adjacent slots. Of course, the Anik's are about .3 degrees off the "norm" but they have had those slots for a long time. Sort of like the SBS Ku group. :) Thanks for the chart.

Thanks for the info. Seems G15 is running reverse polarity for that slot. It is supposed to be odds on vertical. May be playing havoc with small dish FTA on adjacent sats.

If I read your sweeps correctly there is no signal on 21. I was wondering if it was shutbown on T7 or if it quit working as well. Do you remember any signal there recently?

SES-1 may have significantly higher power capabilities. Also, a 10 foot dish can be detuned enough to separate satellites with some separation.

One option being considered is to move AMC-11 to either the north or south edge of its box and crank up the power, If I remember correctly, G 15 has the opposite polarity configuration of AMC-11. This should minimise the interference. Pity those with smaller dish sizes and skew that is not...

Are you sure you don't have your wires crossed or leakage in a DiSEqC switch? Are you using separate LNBs for C and Ku? Perhaps your receiver thinks it is on C band. What are the frequencies displayed?

I don't see it mentioned in this thread, but the SR on G14 4060 and 4080 is 30000, not 29270 as listed at Lyngsat.

Duh. In DVB-S it is DVB-SNG which includes 8PSK, not plain ole DVB-S. Anyhow the Twinhan 1020A will not do 8PSK, but it will do DSS. :)

Note it is not in general release. Seems to be a release to fix bugs in a time bombed prerelease. Neither appear to have been sent to update subscribers.
