Early 2006. Got the Pansat 2700. Decided to do the install in the middle of winter. Not my best choice but i finally got G23 after weeks of freezing outside! The cold suddenly went away when i got that first signal and i always remembered which way the skew was after that :D

Speaking from experience and a lot of time wasted i would start out without the motor. Set your elevation for AMC6 72W and keep the dish loose enough to move it and get the NBC mux. Once you get that you can move it around to different sats to get a feel for the elevation and how it all works...

I would go with a broken cable. Same thing happened to me. Limb fell and cracked it enough to get water in there to rust it.

Tim did you check your LNB? It could have twisted a hair in the holder but it sounds to me like your dish moved a bit.
