    Please! Help Needed

I just saw this whole thread - I thought of skew right away (when I move lnb in and out as opposed to slight rotation it just changes effectively antenna position) when I went from 1 meter to 36" dish for sat. at 123 degrees my signal strength went down noticeably- 33" only - I'd expect...

    sadoun/disEqc switch

So early on Thursday morning I ordered via the internet the s-ds41c , 4 X 1 switch and I received it Sat. afternoon from Sadoun. All I had to do besides plugging it in was set the software on the receiver to the 4 way diseqc switch. Only 2 lnbs/sats are hooked up but may use all 4...

Is adjusting your dish every 6-9 months "normal"?

HEllo, My 2 stationary dishes are changed to new satellites every once in a while (not real rigid) so if one set in place for 6 months with all the weather it would probably be a record for me - (that's good in my opinion)! (my record maybe 4 months).:up

Down With The 3ABN Dish, Back To Fortec Star 80CM!

Just want to say my 3abn dish is different and it's over 4 years old - and didn't have the problems you did - mainly "Peter" problems with sore back, moving it many times, and being lazy with regards to solid pole mounts not cemented down...

    Friday FTA Fun Poll 4/18

I'd put the 36" back on pipe over (flooded) storm cellar to get 30 degrees west - hispasat c. It's right at the horizon (between zero and 5 degrees elevation) and I inverted the dish before - but they have nice floor shows on one of their channels where the Spanish women "forget " to wear...

Will a 36"(91.44cm) dish overcome the interference on G10?

For me, a 36" dish vs. 31" at 11720 eliminated MOST of the dropouts.

    Bored...should I?

I'd say do it. I have two stationary dishes but had LOTS of practice moving. I suggest you look carefully before you move, checking to see if your pole is vertical; also, take a line of site view of the horizon for azimuth - like is there a small tree in the distance next to a white fence ? for...

Should I contact Makers of Pansat?

don't know the number of the pansat i bought in 2001; 2500 (?) 2700 (?) bought it on recommendation from message boards. (person later said his crashed after 6 months). Seller (large vendor) said later he knew model was no good. Had to send back 3 times (weird!) as mine crashed permanently...

Galaxy 10r - Whats really there?

For my 2 cents worth, yeah, you don't get cbs or nbc currently on g10r (one of my two fixed dishes points at g10r) BUT you have Spanish and American music channels, WB, Upn, previously mentioned RTN, 2 other Spanish networks, ABC (mt. time zone) and Fox, and Pentagon and few other public...

Can you use a SW21 with linear and circular LNBs?

Couple years ago had dishpro 500 w/sw21 and i was lucky to get even one satellite on either dishpro or legacy receiver.

Can you use a SW21 with linear and circular LNBs?

I have to say that Topfield is quirky but it's been reliable and the bugs do not disable functionality (came from 3abn deal 2 1/2 years ago)
