    Circular Ku-band

Is there anything still FTA on any of the Circular Ku-band satellites (North America)? I'm thinking about streamlining my setup and getting rid of my excess satellite parts (LNBFs, switches, etc), but didn't know if there was any reason to keep any Circular Ku-band LNBFs. THANKS!

Anyone having problem with Galaxy 3C?

I was having trouble with the CCTV/CGTN feeds, but they are back to normal now. No Phoenix channels, but still get the MTI radio channels

97W STAR 5 Radio, No sound, Signal Quality 71%, 11836/V/20769.

Hopefully they are not switching to streaming only like some channels have done

Fall Tune-up (and new product testing)

Do you sell the LNBF clamp/holder like shown in your photos for the CS1 Offset Dish Conical Scalar Kit? Or know where I can get one? I have a dish that has the round arm like the one in the photos, but I can't find a clamp/holder that will fit on it, Ku or C band. Would love to try and use it...

    Titanium's New Product....

Sounds great, I've used telnet before within a terminal emulator, on a computer network over 10 years ago, should be about the same, but a little rusty, but I'm sure it will all come back to me after a little cussing :censored and fussing :argue

    Titanium's New Product....

Thanks everyone for all the great info! This sounds almost exactly like what I've been waiting for. I'm a tinkerer, so this sounds like it will be right up my alley. Not well versed in Linux, but I have been learning some command line things to do on my Mac using terminal, so I'm guessing it...

    Titanium's New Product....

Hmm... if this would work, I could probably edit on my Mac via the browser. That would be great. Otherwise, I would have to run a virtual machine via VirtualBox or something similar, install Windows, and try it that way. Haven't had a physical PC in several years.

    Titanium's New Product....

Next question... so what about channel editing? I hate having to use the remote for channel editing like a lot of receivers. Is there a PC or Mac (preferred) software solution to edit channels, or is it possible to connect a keyboard and mouse to do the editing? Will it support a usb hub...

    Titanium's New Product....

But what about the OTA TV tuner? Isn't DVB-T2 not compatible in the USA? Or is the version you'll be selling going to have a different OTA tuner?

    PBS Counting Satellite Viewers

Does this affect the PBS feeds on 87°W Ku-band also?

Has anyone tried this ebay iptv fta reciever?

They are generic, and there is several dealers on alibaba that sell these. I bought 6 of these, (branded under a different name, DVBS World), for less than $25 each, and it does have wireless lan capabilities with an optional antenna. The Ralink 5370/7601 usb wireless adapter is the one...

    AMC 124.9 W KU Band

I had a similar problem with 124.9°W Ku. I was getting everything available from 58.0°W to 123.0°W no problems, but 124.9°W I was only getting Montana PBS. I changed my elevation very slightly and now I get all that's available there as well. Was probably only a degree or less movement, but...

Maybe not to bad, since all connections are 12 volts except for a couple switches. Going to post photos of the equipment later.

    My Current Setup

For starters: 87°w, 91°w, 95°w, 97°w, 103°w, 105°w. The manual says you can't get closer than 3 degrees, and others I've chatted with said 4 degrees, but I've already had 95°w/97°w and 103°w/105°w set at 2 degrees on this dish, so I know it is possible, just a little tough to fit/set. I had this...

    My Current Setup

Here we go... This is my current dish setup. It's a strange hodgepodge of mixed parts that came together quite nicely and now have nearly twice as many channels to watch. 1st up is an old unbranded BJU (Bob Jones University) home schooling dish with a HH90 motor and an Invacom Quad QPH-031...

GEOSATpro HDVR3500 - New DVBS2 STB - Photos and Initial Testing

I discovered my HH90 problem, bad cable... and now I can pick up 58w to 125w with most averaging between 85% to 98% signal quality, but 103w's NBC/COZI feeds being the weakest signals averaging 10%

GEOSATpro HDVR3500 - New DVBS2 STB - Photos and Initial Testing

How do you add channels manually using transponder, APID and VPID settings, etc. on a satellite that currently has no channels? I couldn't find a way to do that, only on satellites that had channels already. Am I missing something? Is the channel editor still in the works? That sure would...

GEOSATpro HDVR3500 - New DVBS2 STB - Photos and Initial Testing

Haven't been on here in a while, is 1372 still the latest firmware? Also I'm having issues with my HH90 motor. When I select 125w Ku it goes there but doesn't stay, goes all the way back to 0 position then returns to 125w and stops. I get weaker signals from this satellite, so I'm wondering if...
