C band or ku band?

I’ve noticed since a few days ago RT has been replaced on 103w ku by a movie trailer channel. Is it still available on 97w ku?

Nbc on 103w is not 24/7, it’s mostly for primetime. Doing a blind scan everyday will bring in news feeds as well as occasional local feeds.

It all depends on what kind of audio you are looking for! C or ku band? music or talk radio? I personally prefer the muzak channels on 103w ku.

Some people in other forums are reporting less signal since pbs is gone from 103w c band.

What happened to the pbs signal on 125w?? I got 57% signal while last year i got 77% on my geosatpro 90cm. Same place , same setup same equipment, what gives?

Is there any list avalaible of the defunct alphastar line up?

I have a freesat v7hd. It works great, can't beat the price. Never had a problem with it. Right now my dish is parked on 97w but as soon as the snow melts here i'm putting out my other dishes. Last year my setup was 103w for nbc on a 1.2m geosatpro dish, 91w c band on a 1.2m prime focus dish...

I've seen some freesat finders and satheros on amazon.

Can anybody confirm if ici rdi is fta on 115w?

I use my sathero 200 or 2 iphones on facetime.

Look up ottawaoctane on youtube, he had successfully locked on 125w pbs feeds with a 60e dish from shaw direct. Maybe you could give it a try with the slimline and a good ku lnb. I had 77% quality on my geosatpro 90cm dish in canada.

Try 58w, 91w, 97w, 99w, 101w, 103w , 105w , 107w, 125w, 127w. Usually the religious channels have the strongest signal!

Why not setup another dish for 125w elsewhere on the property?

Maybe try a signal that you know will get for sure, then move east or west from there.

If you can get your hands on a satmeter, that would help out a lot!!

Finally! I can receive cw during the day with the titanium lnb. The regular 17k c band lnb from wish could only bring it in at night.

I think you will have more luck with 125. Look at the footprints of the satellites you are trying to receive. My guess is that you will need something bigger then 30”.

Try 4100 V. If you don’t find anything, Try 11940 V on 103w on a ku lnb. Then install the c band lnb and move west a few degrees. Do you have a satmeter?

Here are a few more pic, this time with titanium lnb on 133w.

No results for 121w. I managed to get 20% on ewtn dvbs2 , but only 10% on dvbs tp. So no lock (no luck either) for 133w. I’ve taken out the titanium lnb and parked the 4 footer back on 91w for cw and byu.

Not very good on ku, i've tried 97w with an old round star choice lnb. I get the same result as i was getting with the 30" round dish that it came with.
