Anyone going to Dayton Hamvention May 20 to May 22??? I posted in the Ham section and did not get any response yet.I know some of the FTA guys might go.

I tracked the ISS a couple of time and seen it in the sky. On very bright, sunny days you can see the sun reflect off off it. Tracked with n2yo and Orbitron. As much as I tried I could not make a 2 meter FM voice contact with the ham astronauts on the ISS. I did copy their APRS a few times.

My... My... My a thread from the past, I still beak out the little dish and play around with it. I sit in a chair outside facing my receiver and monitor and hold the dish in my lap and aim it at satellite just for the fun of playing around. Good luck

Try scanning 61W at 11 PM, I found at times, that there are stations on from Quebec Canada. I scanned in a strong responder 11723/V/1800 a couple of days ago, but no stations.

I'm 80 mile south of Newark, you must of have a long arm for the long wave. If you drove the NJ turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, you were closer. Do you want to share the route you're taking???
