I have no issue with registering my dish. The only issue I have is the fee, $425.00 is a bit steep for hobby use.

    Opinion Please

I think that any one meter dish will be too heavy for the HH90. Stab makes a motor specifically for a 1 meter dish (HH100), and one specifically for a 1.2 meter dish. My HH90 has a 90cm Fortec star dish installed (dish weight is right at the specified limit), and I have to reset elevation...

.0063 is roughly 1.5 mm. A dull pencil will make a line that wide. I guarantee that neither yours or her tape measure is certified accurate. You have no worries there.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a roof mouted motorized dish

I am assuming that you where using the tripod mount at ground level. Why not just get a longer 2" pipe for the center mast and sink it into the ground, using the tripod to support it (a brick paver under each leg will keep the tripod stable). set the mast as you would a fencepost using pea...

Discussion: Who is Interested in a C-band or Large Dish Purchase? Build and Cost?

It appears that most everyone who wants a bud has one, some of us have more than one (myself included). The majority of people still don't know that fta exists and our mailboxes are flooded with advertisements for the alternatives. In reality the cost of a C/ku system (with a tek 2000 dish) is...

Help in setting up FTA system

I'm happy to help, especially when someone wants to use their bud for Ku band. It takes a lot of fine tuning but its well worth it. I would be happy to help you with remapping, but your license plate tells me that we are a bit too far apart for that.

Help in setting up FTA system

The best way to help you, is to first find out your ultimate goal. Do you plan on using your 922 to view fta DCII programing (there are a few open channels, channels open up frequently for an hour or two, sometimes a day or two)? As far as the TDT count goes, remapping will take care of that...

    Odd, very odd ASC-1 operation.......

Im using a diseqc 1.0 switch between the asc1 and the lnbs, but as I stated earlier the unit behaves the same without the switch installed.

    Odd, very odd ASC-1 operation.......

There was an option added to select the position number, and there were some timer changes also. Feel free to PM m if you have any questions.

    Odd, very odd ASC-1 operation.......

I'm having similar issues with mine. It seems like it freezes when it gets to the programmed position. Occaisionally I will have to hit the exit button on the remote to move things along. This was most noticeable with the latest firmware for the Nano HD (1.1.76). Originally I thought the lag may...

Probably the dumbest question you've heard!!

Usually by the time it gets to Cband, its edited and ready for broadcast. On rare occaisions I've caught soundchecks and such, but that is very rare.

    Interested in FTA need help

$300 is a bit steep, but that depends on the type of dish and what comes with it. Have him send you pics of everything.
