I am also from Winnipeg, and I can confirm that the nice warm -48C temperature last night did not break the HH90 Stab. It works fine, but motor was a dog and move slower than usual. Signal Quality is the same. Invacom works flawlessly :). I feel pity for my Stab Motor under this weather tho !

When pointing to your TS of 119 on your circular LNB, try to make sure you have very strong signal. Circular Signal is more forgiving than linear.

Hi fjacky, Before you jump into purchasing your dish, the first thing you need to check is your line-of-sight to south. If you have nothing blocking you and if dish size is not an issue, I would recommend getting a >33" dish. I am in Winnipeg, MB and with a 33" I am able to get 61.5 - 148...

This gives me hope in owning a cband dish that sits at the back of my lawn. I live in Winter zone (Winnipeg), so I could use snow to hold a cband on the lawn....maybe. How easy is it to point a dish on a cband (Stationary) versus a ku-linear (Motorized)?

Hi Kymics, Try using Disecq location 1 and 2 (Avoid using Disecq loaction 4). Or like TiminMb had suggested, try the direct line into the receiver from each of the lnb.

Hi George, I would go for the 120cm. Looks like there is talk of people using c-band feedhorn to get c-band birds on an offset KU dish (i.e. 120cm).

Another vote for the Great Invacom quad. Even though heavy, I think I now have better signal strengths to the linear birds. I think the 0.3 makes a difference. I had to readjust the dish slightly when replacing the LNB to this beast.
