Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

The disk I got today has a different envelope from past discs. The envelope used to say "dish | Blockbuster@Home" on it. Now, it just says "Blockbuster". No dish logo, and no "@home" logo. I presume the envelope is what is used for standard blockbuster via mail, the separate service not tied...

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

Seems like they need to update their queue interface to show title availability from your local shipping center.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

This happens to me every disc I send back, and I've never swapped discs in a store. I can only think that they go based off tracking info on the envelope. Every time, I get an email stating they sent the next disc, and then a couple days later, I get an email stating they received my last disc.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

I'm usually at 5 or 6 day turnaround. To me, that's slow, as Netflix was on the order of 2-3 days.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

The time from when I get the email that the disc shipped to the time I receive the disc is pretty slow. But, the time from them receiving my disc and shipping out the next is usually very quick. Perhaps it would make sense to start listing the shipping center that you send/receive from. I...

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

Unfortunately, I think it's a case of me just having a poor taste in movies :o I usually only add movies when they're still in theaters and it looks like it's something I'd like to see.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

For me, it's slower than Netflix, but where I am, doesn't seem nearly as bad as others. I wonder if we had a way to track what BB distro everyone generally mails to, to see if it's only a few centers.

I noticed that as well. I look back at my rental history and I'm glad they're rentals and not purchases.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

Right now, out of 20 disks in my queue, 2 are to be released on 5 March, 5 are listed as Short Wait, one as Long Wait, and 2 as Very Long Wait. I assume any disks listed as a wait are not in stock at all, and the length of time listed is how many people are in front of you in line for the disk.

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

That happens all the time for me. I think they must have a USPS tracking on the return envelope, so as soon as they see it's in the mail, they ship the next, and send you an email when they get yours back. That's the only thing that I can think of that makes sense. But yeah, all the time, I...

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

I just checked, and I got a bit mixed up. New are listed as unknown. I don't have any listed as unavailable. What movies do you have in you queue listed as unavailable? Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G

Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

If they're listed a unavailable, that usually means they're not out on disc yet. But they list them so that they can be in your queue when they do commune out. We do that all the time, add the movies that we want to see that are in theaters right now. Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G

Seriously Dish, 2 BB apps in the Google play store and neither work with BB@Home?

It's usually 4-6 days turnaround for a disk with BB for me. On my 20mile drive to/from work, there are literally 15 Redboxes. I'm a 3hr drive from Chicago, which is where my BB disks seem to be shipped to. No idea why it takes 4-6 days, but it's frustrating. And the fact there is no way to...

Seriously Dish, 2 BB apps in the Google play store and neither work with BB@Home?

Yeah, still a major FAIL on Dish's part. Just looked into Redbox, may be where my movie rental dollars will go next. Not sure...

Seriously Dish, 2 BB apps in the Google play store and neither work with BB@Home?

Title says it all. This whole Dish/BB deal seems like nothing but untrained monkeys at the controls. I downloaded two Blockbuster apps, one by Blockbuster LLC and the other by Dish. My Dish/BB@Home account doesn't work on either. I was looking for a way to manage my Blu-ray queue via my...
