Sirius wont give up getting me back as a customer

I still get emails begging me to comeback despite canceling two years ago (three?) Luckily they don't have my phone number or I'd have to buy a boat horn for when they call.

    Any SatRaders left ?

The fact that the bandwidth isn't being clogged up with sports coverage I find to be a plus. There are other apps for that, I have the ESPN Radio (for live Kornheiser mostly) app and, very soon MLB at Bat when I want to listen to that sort of thing. I don't buy the sports zombies' argument...

    The Howard Stern Show

One thing satellite radio has done is made him completely irrelevant. I listened casually while he was on Denver radio (a SHORT time after the Columbine comments) but never really saw the draw.

Sirius XM Second Quarter 09 Results Announced

Oh I do have the cash! I chose to use it to pay $48 a year for Slacker plus (no commercials). And I'm still saving money over XM's yearly plan.

Sirius XM Second Quarter 09 Results Announced

Between Pandora, Slacker and now Radio Paradise, there's just no reason to resubscribe after quitting more than two years ago. Everything I want I have, everyone who wants satellite radio, has it. The big question now is will they EVER reach 20 million subscribers?

Sirius Xm to raise rates another $2

I actually cancelled XM way back when Music Lab and Luna were thrown off the air. At the time AOL Radio was still streaming it online and I could get X-Country and Beyond Jazz through that service for free. When that was no longer possible (and X-Country and Beyond Jazz were thrown off the air...

    News on MLB and Sirius

According to a CSR = You or I know more about it then they do. They're just trying to keep you from canceling.

    Anyone notice static lately

There shouldn't be static on a digital signal. I think it's one of those things where you have the signal or you don't. Sounds like a connection issue.

    Mlb on Sirius

CSRs are normally not to be trusted. And there hasn't been an official press release in regards to it. So it's BS until proven otherwise.

    Sirius XM Planning Iphone App.

If you want to subscribe you have to pay $12.99 a month, as if you were getting all channels online, which you won't be. Slacker and Pandora do a much better job on the Music side, talk content is available on Public Radio, AOL Radio, Flycast, iHeartRadio (including WLW on that last one which...

How many of You have lost interest in XM?

I lost interest two years ago after losing Music Lab and Luna. I have been looking for a replacement for the music for a while now. I have found it in Slacker. I listen to the iPhone app whenever I want to discover new artists for find a genre I haven't listened to before. With all the...

    700 WLW Off XM Today

MAYBE for the same reason Wunderradio was asked to remove all CC streams from it's iPhone app. Because CC has their own iPhone application that you can get WLW among others. WLW is in my favorites on iHeartRadio.

Who listens to Music on their I PHONES?

I want to use the iPhone in the car when I can find an FM Transmitter that doesn't have interference issues with the phone. Slacker and Pandora are my choices for music, when i'm not listening to what I have on the phone itself. Right this minute I'm listening to a custom station I made on...

    Sirius XM Prepares Bankruptcy Filing

Wifi is already in vehicles like the new Dodge Ram and (I believe) the new Ford F150. By this time next year it will be widely available in more models as the demand is there. I know I'd love to have my car be a roving wifi hotspot so I can listen to slacker on my iPhone. Although 3G does...

    Sirius XM Prepares Bankruptcy Filing

If nothing else, Echostar buying Sirius would be saving their hides. They can focus less on staying in business, and more on innovation and technology so that they CAN compete with Internet Radio (I think Sirius will be an Internet Radio company eventually). Between the merger and keeping the...

    Sirius raising prices!

Most of the XM playlists are now over on Slacker.com, when the iPhone app was made available I sampled it, and liked it so much that I ponied up for the $47.88 a year plus subscription plan to eliminate commercials (one per half hour) and have unlimited skips and favoring/banning songs. Slacker...

    Alternative to Sirius/XM

There is a rumor floating around the satellite radio boards that the SiriusXM app is out soon (there's that word again! ). Could be as early as Tuesday, but according to what I've read full price ($12.95) is being charged for the limited Internet radio subscription, which isn't worth...

    Alternative to Sirius/XM

I have an iPhone with Slacker, Pandora, Last.FM, AOL Radio, iheartradio, and a few other radio apps on there. That's plenty for music and there are quite a few talk stations AOL iHeart and Flycast which fill the bill. I missed BBC World Service and C-Span Radio since I left XM, but those are on...

Sirius XM @ CES & The Dual-Platform radio (Mirge)

As I understand it their 'booth' is in the Bellagio. Much like Slacker was in a seperate location. I don't understand why, especially in the case of Sirius XM where their product isn't exactly setting the world on fire sales-wise in the first place.
