    New plan with auto renewal.

I re-subbed for $8.91/mo including all fees. It went up ~ $1.50 from my last promo, but at least I don't have to remember to "cancel" in order to get this rate next year. Music and Entertainment package.

Say what? I can pause SiriusXM on my Echoes. I can also skip to the next one. I cannot rewind the current track nor skip back to the last track. Can you?

SiriusXM announces Holiday Music Lineup 2023

That app doesn't seem very useful to me since I have a sub for my car. At home I use my numerous Echoes to stream. Here at work, I use my phone's hotspot to stream to another Echo. I am also averse to the plethora of apps that exist for no apparent reason. It seems like everybody, even fast...

    Music channel change?

My Chrysler is not as big as a whale and it definitely can't "seat" 20. ;) I have seen even more amazing feats of stuffing in a VW Beetle, though.

    Love Shack?

    Music channel change?

I am stupefied. I thought all these Uconnect radios were the same inside. It is on Chrysler and Dodge. Now you've got me wondering if my memory is really from my current 2020, or rather from my 2012 which definitely had no channels that high. I'll have to double-check.

    Music channel change?

Right you are. What were they thinking?

    Music channel change?

Hmmm. I have a 2020 Chrysler with a radio that says "SiriusXM", but it can receive no channels that high. :(

    Sirius Renewal

Well, that seemed appealing to me at first. But apparently it doesn't include the Spa sat channel nor any streaming channels such as Spa Instrumental. What an oversight.

    Sirius Renewal

Scott, is that for the Mostly Music plan?

    Replacing car head unit

IMHO a bluetooth-capable radio is a must have for safety. That way you can place and receive calls via the radio rather than fiddling with your cell phone. As for streaming from your phone or from satellite... I think they'll both go out in a tunnel. What I do is use SiriusXM to discover new...

    New plan with auto renewal.

Yup. The Echo is the only device that allows multiple streams, so far as I know. Maybe other smart speakers too?

    New plan with auto renewal.

I find I can have any number of Amazon Echo smart speakers and play SiriusXM on any or all of them. It can even be different channels, or go to different IP addresses.

SiriusXM app on OnePlus 9 Pro takes over SiriusXM on radio when using Android Auto

FWIW, I stopped using Android Auto because The volume is too damn loud and the volume control is hard to find. Why can't I just turn down the radio's volume control knob? Display is nice, but I just use Google Maps via voice turn by turn navigation. We shouldn't be looking at the map display...

    Basic technical question

There is considerable skew between these sources and it is my understanding that the receiver caches a second or two to allow it to switch tuners seamlessly for best reception. I don't know that for sure either.

    Basic technical question

I am pretty sure they do, but I have no way of verifying that.

    Upgrade to get more channels

I found no such setting, but I didn't look very hard either. About the only thing it did of any interest was remotely locking and unlocking the doors. And it took 15-20 seconds to do so. I could see no reason to have such a feature since the keyfob works from considerable range. I once got...

    Upgrade to get more channels

No, it is NOT a nice feature because it issued these damn fuel low notifications every damn time I turned off the car when it was maybe 1/4 or even 1/3 of a tank still left! Ridiculous nagging I can do without. If I'm concerned, I can just look at the gauge. It still dings at me when I go...

    Upgrade to get more channels

Their channel lineup is confused as hell. But I see that the one I have at the top of my "dial", 626 (Latin Holiday Music), is indeed on the satellite. I also see a SoundCloud Emerging HipHop channel 724 which I don't receive on my Sirius radio. I suspect they're all virtual channel numbers...

    Upgrade to get more channels

My 2020 300 is one such car; it even has a subscription service to turn itself into a WiFi hot spot. I have never subscribed to that, but it supposedly was on free preview for the 1st year (now expired). It is still, somehow, sending health status back to my phone app (and my home email that I...

    Upgrade to get more channels

Indeed. But when presented with channel numbers only, which are streaming only? I no longer remember. Can you get any 300 channel or above on satellite?
  22. TheKrell

    Upgrade to get more channels

Agree. The only way is to stream to the phone and then link Bluetooth audio to the truck radio.
  23. TheKrell

    Upgrade to get more channels

    Unless it's a streaming-only channel.
  24. TheKrell

    Upgrade to get more channels

That question is unclear. You can use your phone as a hotspot, in which case the vehicle doesn't need a hotspot of it's own. I do this to use my Amazon Echo when I'm working in my office. (We are not allowed to attach non-government equipment to our network.) If you are going to stream...

    Upgrade to get more channels

My 300 is like that; it is based on Sirius not XM technology, and I believe our radios max out because of that. The high-number stations are mostly streaming, anyway, which is why you can find them on the app. I can find them on my Echo speakers, too.
