I too oppose the merger - but for the opposite reason. IMHO, XM is weak. Period. I am quite happy with my Sirius, and the NFL channel in particular. My single gripe: they took of the Rolling Stones channel! Just my 2 cents. --Doug

Careful!! Sirius has been like crack-cocaine (just 1or 2 shots and you are hooked!) The NFL channel is just super and I like the 50s, 60s, Classic Rock & Rolling Stones channels too. I'm hooked on Sirius - big time! --Doug

I have an Audiovox PNP with the boombox and to use it at home I had to put up a Terk outdoor antenna as I didn't have a window with a good north exposure. The Terk SIR6 is just a little thing that mounts on a wall, TV antenna mast (mine) or whatever. www.terk.com is their site. Shop around...

This is pretty much the way so many of them are installed, including ours in the Dodge van and the PT Cruiser. We have the older Audiovox PNP2s and just love them. It's nicer of course when they are built in like my 300C, but this is a good way to go. --Doug

I didn't have the need to change out the speakers. My SIR-BB1 worked just fine right out of the box - been happy with it ever since. My wife and I use it on the porch, plugged into the electrical outlet and we have a Terk outdoor antenna installed on the chimney - works great! --Doug
