    Newbie with a Sportster problem

    i had the same problem. i got my sportster hardwired and had engine noise everytime i hit the gas pedal. the installers tried everything to get rid of it. finally they swapped out the cradle for a new one and the noise went away.

    there are alot of choices i see. another question, if a receiver has a fm transmitter can you hardwire it to your radio? i have heard that the fm transmitter isnt the best for sound. do you need a special radio to hook up the receiver to?
