After months I finally found out that nothing is wrong with the GEOSATPRO 1200. The Aquos Link on my Sharp 60" TV was causing the problem. Now glad I don't have to change sound around everytime I go from FTA to dish. Apparently is sends feedback somehow.

I was walking in the yard and I thought why not hook my wireless sound system directly to the receiver. So I did and the sound is right in my headset. I don't know if the sound is right coming out of the TV through the hdmi because of my hearing. I haven't been able to hear a TV for 10 years...

How is your sound with 1200 on HDMI? All I get is noise from day one which was about four months ago. Not near as good of a picture to use other cables to get sound.

My hdmi has an excellant picture but sound is horrible. I have to use other plugins to watch it. Is this a problem in just a few microhds? I know the hdmi cable is ok but the picture quality drops with other cable, but at least I have sound Posted Via The FREE SatelliteGuys Reader App!

I never got my 2Tb external harddrive to work. Reformatted a couple different ways with finally fat32, but would not work. I bought a PNY attaché 3 128gb USB drive for $34.81 and works perfectly plus doesn't need power. So now I have a backup for my laptop or my Hoppers. Thanks for the help on...

After your suggestions I unplugged my Appletv, hopper and blu-ray players. Still messed up. I changed to another hdmi input on the tv, that didn't work. Tried different hdmi cable still nogo. I decided to unplug hdmi from receiver and use the cables, bingo the hdmi is bad on the receiver...

I have a Geo micro HD with signal strength of 78 and Quality of from 58 to 62. I get a good picture but the sound on most channels is static. What is the signal needed for good sound? I am on 97 in Elkview, West Virginia.

Both my laptops have win 7 and they show an ex fat whatever that is. Now it doesn't lockup but when it shows the usb there is an exclamation mark !

I was about to order micro HD kit but wondering from what I am reading. Is it always this hard to setup or is there one that works for someone not familiar with al the numbers and settings? I would appreciate any advise.
