seen ad on tsn hd today

TSN2 can only allot 10% of its programming to live events, so you won't see a ton of "PRIME" stuff dumped to TSN2, there isn't room. Outside of that 10%, TSN2 will mainly be repeats of stuff that originally aired on TSN as per CRTC license.

    Bell 9200

I would get a 6100 if I were you. It will still function as a SD receiver after the MPEG4 HD transfer which is at least a year away. 6100 is a smaller investment than 9200 for what will be SD only soon. The 9200 will function as a SD DUAL PVR at that time as well. However, I bet you can...

    Bell 9200

Excellent machine. Only drawback is that it is MPEG2 only meaning that it probably only has about 2 years of EVU HD life in it. Ebay is your best bet.

    Which to choose

Bell will have 4 channels of NHL CI HD. EVU also will have more NFL ST HD than SC. In Pittsburgh, you will be able to get all EVU and SC channels.

    Bar Owner needs help

OTA local games via local station no problem for bar. FREE. Local games via local station on cable or via satellite. Bar would have to pay commercial rate for programming.

    Bar Owner needs help

Cband, fiber. NFL would surely back and protect Directv who pays a bazillion more dollars than any Canadian provider does for ST. No EVU logo on MLB EI btw.

6100 and 9200 are. 6000 would need to be upgraded.

Local TBS feed on Expressvu to be different than National TBS Feed

I would think that technically the OTA version is the station that is officially approved not the cable version since that when the stations were first OK'd by the CRTC there were no cable versions. I am not interested in going through admenments to their license to see if that changed. So...

    SC & NHL settle differences

Just as a comparison, Bell had 200+ HD games in its CI package last season, so I can see SC having the same in the future.

StarChoice or ExpressVu in the US???

WI area is fine for EVU all channels. If you are looking for sports and sports HD, EVU is your best choice. Otherwise, mileage may vary.

    BEV US College Sports Package

The Expressvu NCAA package consists of 8 channels, I believe. 6 SD and 2 HD. 3 of the SD channels cover games on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. THe other 3 SD channels are random games from Gameplan or Full Court. The 2 HD channels cover games on ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD. I think the package was $99...

Any US actions against a subscriber?

Not sure what studio (BBC?) our example, Coronation Street is produced /owned by, but if they sold Canadian rights to Canada to the CBC and the CBC was intentionally showing it in areas that they did not purchase rights to the studio would have an issue with it. Bottomline is that the number...

Any US actions against a subscriber?

You are right, I think. I shouldn't have used the word "all" programming. However, just because someone hasn't purchased US rights to certain programming doesn't mean it can be shown by a foreign broadcaster in that market. Did CBC (or whomever shows Cornonation) purchase North American...
