I have the same setup as you with 3 630s fed by a zinwell wb68 multiswitch fed from two separate dishes. I do not have the problem you have with any of my receivers. Possibly a multiswitch issue or one of the cables feeding it from you lnbs.

I think you mean your old 60cm dish, and no you cannot use the 60cm quad on a 75cm dish, the focal point is different. You need the quad that is designed for the 75cm dish.

You didn't make a mistake switching to Shaw if you are ok with what is already on Anik F1R and Anik F2. You will get most of the Canadian content most people are wanting anyway.

Odds are the footprint will not change, if it does it would be very minimal unfortunately.

The 630 PVR needs two cables to record two shows at once. Just to add to that the receiver does not work well with only one cable connected as it swaps tuners everytime you change the channel.
