$60 doesn't impress Unless you absolutely, positively, have to be on Verizon for coverage ... There is a GSM $45/mo alternative with 2500mb LTE. I went to a new $30/mo 500mb no LTE plan. (My 4S doesn't speak LTE) Both are over ATT network and include unlimited text & talk.

I already had some rude words to say about this deal over on Howard Forums. The gist of it was, "what is the monthly on Verizon, and wouldn't you be better with the GSM version for $200, then $45 or $30 per month?"

Somewhere, I recently read about this. Users needed to load an app and register before takeoff. Don't recall details, other than the plane equipment handled the connection.
