Well, I had my Adelphia install Friday and everything is so far so good. The SD on the Basic channels is not as good as I had hoped, but the Digital SD look just as good as DBS. The HD Channels look great. I do not see the pixing much at all and the Moto HD DVR's are great, no lock ups yet...

My install is tomorrow for Adelphia. I will report back on PQ quality/HD DVR features for anyone in my area. Wayne

I agree. I was with D*, went to Voom, then added E* for the RSN's. The reason I went with E* instead of D* again was because they did not down res the HD. I just don't know anymore. I know one thing, after Voom is gone, I'm really going to miss the HD selection I had. Wayne

I view Voom on a Sanyo Z2, 106" screen, DVI, 15ft back. Voom is also viewed on a 46" Sony RP, DVI, From around 10ft I have been with Voom for over 1 1/2 years. I still see major problems with a majority of the channels. Wayne

No problems on my end. Dish and OTA HD look great. My RP is calibrated and my Z2 is still shooting about 106"'s of great looking HD from Dish, what little they have. I am not a voom basher, I have converted friends, I am just giving my opinion. Wayne

I have both Voom and Dish, and I must admit, Dish HD looks pretty good. But, Voom has more HD content and looks great as long as there is no movement. Hopefully this will improve.

I think some of us are just frustrated with the Pic quality right now and are venting. Until the Pic quality is fixed, I'll continue to tap my keg for a beer and prop my feet up. Beer makes women look better, so why not Voom to.
