    The promotion in my area is $25 off of my monthly bill for 16 months. However, Digital Platinum package is $98.95 + $7.25 for HD + $15.45 for DVR. Not including taxes the total is $121.65. With the promotion it is $96.65. How come you could get 3 HD boxes for $49.99?

    I bet those three are not HD aficionados but just TV viewers (or they can't live without an overdose of NFL via Sunday Ticket or shopping channels or religious channels). It's true that for a typical TV viewer Voom is not the best option.

    I'm not sure that you're correct. On my January bill VaVaVomm package disappeared and instead I pay $39.90 for Voom and 4 x $10 for Cinemax PlusPack, HBO PlusPack, SHOWTIME UNLIMITED PlusPack, and STARZ! PlusPack. The total for programming is still $79.90.
