Hey, I signed up with cable so I wouldn't be locked in. I'm ready to throw my weight around (all 150 pounds of it) and jump off the cable ship and into the battle for HD if needed!!!

I would consider that but I actually enjoy a lot of the SD channels. I dont' know what I'd do without at least one or two news channels or the discovery channels. I suppose if I didn't have tv I could always just go outside and play....

It looks like 200.00 is more or less what other companies are starting to offer. I signed up with adelphia and got 20 or 25/mo off for 11 months.

We are a small minority of the voom subscriber base. Even so, most people here who have gone with satellite have signed some type of contract. It's the cable people that haven't signed anything.

I just signed up with adelphia cable. Install scheduled for this coming Tuesday. I'll keep voom on until the signal goes dead though.
