Yeah, I've had two reboots so far. Once when it was just about to start recording, and once when it was near done recording. But at least it's still spewing packets back to home, because that's so useful to all of us.

i have never seen it say more than 33% either. Usually i get 33% on two or three of the inputs, with 0 on whichever one isn't 33%.

i'm surprised if the TT is stressing the usb connection. what's it doing other than sending song titles over the link (assuming you're not rapidly sending channel-change commands to the unit, etc.) Shouldn't require much bandwidth.

My ipod photo seems to have no problem dealing with the 5-6 hour mp3 recorded at 128/stereo. What bit rate are you using, and what kind of ipod? (to answer your other question, had no problem recording the east coast morning feed - i'm on the west coast).

It was a mitsumi combo drive (floppy and multi-card reader). Don't remember the model number at the moment. I used a similar model from another mfg on my other machine and had the same experience.

when i installed the card readers i go the "new hardware detected ... serial <-> usb device" popup, so i assume it's using such a driver for something. Perhaps only when a card is inserted.
