    32" LCD for bedroom

We have only had 2 power outages in the past year and when I rewired house in 07 ran a dedicated line to TV location in bedroom as well as living room. 95% of viewing will be HD from my VIP 211 via HDMI (still works) with OTA. 5% or less will be analog channel 60 from my VIP 622 in living room...

Wife surprised me and came home from Walmart with a Sanyo 32" for $447.00. I worked with it for a few days and could never get the PQ good, not sharp and bad color so I returned it. Picked up a Samsung 32450 last week and am extremely happy with it. Best Buy had it for $599.00, a ton of...

    32" LCD for bedroom

First let me thank all who answered my post. After a lot of shopping B&M and internet I've decided on Samsung, either the 32450 or the 32330. I can live with the stretch on SD from my 622 and we have a up converting DVD player in bedroom. The 32450 can be had for about $550 and 32330 around...

    32" LCD for bedroom

Anyone out there have a suggestion for a 32" LCD for the bedroom. 720 should be fine as I'll feed it analog 4:3 via dish 622 TV2 out and OTA. Viewing distant is about 9' and it will be wall mounted. Replacing a 2 year old 20" CRT that both of us see just fine but we have 3 month new SAMSUNG...

What TV or A/V components are you buying this season?

Just got my Samsung LN52A650 last month and I'm still blown away. DVD up converted to 1080P is out standing but still may pick up a BlueRay player on black friday.

How do you shop for a display?

I have them set up a good quality up converting DVD player with a DVD that I know well and feed it to the TV of choice, this is close to watching sat HD. Then turn down the settings to about 50% and view for a while. BB and CC will do this if they want you as a customer.

question: Samsung plasma or Sony LCD?

My Mits is a 2001 55" RPTV that seems like it will last forever. So far I replaced the 2 convergence ICs last year and it still has a great pic. I have been checking the new TVs for a while and have decided the 120 hz (LN55650) Sammy is so much better than the rest of the market its my #1. I...
