    Not really. They're delivered via satellite and it could even be done with no additional equipment at most TV stations. However it won't be done because of retrans fees and agreements with cable providers. I believe one market had (has?) either FBN or FNC over the air.

    Needing a good amp

    I use an antennacraft 10G212 for my 200ft cable run up the tower and to the house. Works pretty well, even better than the Channel Master 7777. 30dB gain, adjustable. You can't go wrong!
