    only thought that comes to mind is the gain on the powered amp. almost sounds like you are accidently overdriving the signal. make sure you are on minimal gain and increase the gain very slowly. just a suggestion

    **Blech** Pardon me as I get sick. Now I'm certain that I've read somewhere that E* is putting up some new birds. Is this for expanded coverage, or to replace existing ones? Certainly I would hope that E*, in a effort to keep up with D*, would begin a local HD initiative.
