Here's an update on what worked for me. Bought a CM 4228 and CM7777 pre-amp. combined them with my ratt shack 80 combo using the CM7777 vhf input and got everything coming in good enough so that i was ok on all channels. Wife got annoyed with the antennas in the spare bedroom so i move them...
