    MSNBC Not available in NY/NJ?

    I just got a promo mailer from Verizon FIOS and I was looking at the channel guide that they sent out, and MSNBC had a * by it and it said "Channel "MSNBC" not available in NY/NJ" Does anyone know why, that seems odd.
