Andrew- I switched over to Tivo with FIOS a little over a week ago. They come out with 2 cable cards. IT blows away the Verizon HD-DVR. You get guide data that's actually correct and descriptive - and yeah, you lose on Demand, but VZ's version of it was terrible. You make up for it...

Check out the lineup for Mercer County. They may do the same for you.

Sorry to disappont, but that is just Verizon's guide data screwing up. It pretty much shows "HD" on just about everything - including the local weather subchannels. Be on the lookout though for 1 new HD channel soon...

EEjay- Most likely they don't have your account properly coded. Call into the FSC 888-553-1555 and tell them you can't access VOD and to check the coding of your account. This happened to me when I first got set up. But, call during business hours (8-6) as the Billing / Encore area will have...

EE- Are you receiving an error when trying to get VOD? Let me know. If you are - they may not have your account set up correctly for VOD.

JG- You are correct. Power off "OK" - brings up the diagnostics menu (Signal levels, etc.) Power off "MENU" - brings up the HD display choices

Zerkon- When you follow "A", hit MENU (on your remote) instead of OK. This is where the mixup is. Hitting MENU will bring up the HD settings.

Hey guys - confirmed with 3 sources only in Texas for now - we'll all get them "soon".... **EDIT** - looks like Florida is now seeing the new channels as well.

The funny thing is that channel isn't live even in Mercer County! Just more bumbling and inaccurate information on the rarely-updated Channel lineup site. They also list "The Word Network" on 267 - but noone has that either.
