Just a quick update - not sure what the issue was the other day, but I was able to download the channel maps last night on 91 (4180V). Weird.....

Just subbed to the NFL Network (fixed dish on 91 west). Purchased through SRL.

Been trying to get the maps off W5 with no luck... :( Any other suggestions?

Any suggestions where to point? I can only see to about 105 W or so.....

Anyone having trouble downloading channel maps? Had to do a master reset on my 922 and the unit will not load all of the satellite tiles/channel maps (stops at 755 channels). Currently have a fixed setup on 91 for NFL Network........ Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hmmmnn...interesting. I have two VOOM remotes - will they really work with the 4dtv units?

Thanks for all of the replies, guys. I will gladly pay shipping for the SC remote if you think that will work OK for the 920. Picked one up on Criagslist for $15....figure I can't complain too much that the remote was missing....

Any reason to keep it installed in the unit or is it completely obsolete? Thought I might remove it to lighten the weight of the receiver...

Quick question - with the demise of the X4 KU channels last year, are there any full-time KU channels available on 4DTV?

Yes - I ran across them a couple of weeks back. Moved to DVB from DCII.

I can't get anything on X0 600/601. Are these channels still broadcasting in DCII? If so, have they moved to another location?

What about folks who are interested in subscribing but use existing GI/Motorola boxes (DSR-920, 922, etc.)? IS there any way to also receive the programming guide via the HITS datastream?

Al, You're absolutely correct. I mispoke in my earlier post. I am using the composite hookup with S-Video. Sorry for the misinformation. Chuck

My DSR-920 (GI model) does have component hookups. Picture on X4 with my KU dish looks pretty good!

Where do you live, Pittsville? Based upon your location coordinates, we may be neighbors. Just an FYI - a guy just responded to my request for spare dishes on Freecycle and has offered up two BUDs (one loose and one mounted). I will be going by his house tomorrow morning to scope it out...
