I don't have auto updates as I have a 905 but my wife went over to G1 to watch Cinemax before I realized there was an issue with DMX. So at 58° they are available, are they the same channels?

So what is the verdict. I steered my dish to W5 this evening and my 905 is not showing any of the DMX channels in the 800s, I tried a couple generics to no avail. Is anyone else able to get 'em with a commercial receiver?

And the dish is likely a Tee-Com as opposed to Tec-Com. That may help you in your search.

Right but my point being that once you have mechanically peaked your LNBF then the skew adjustments on your receiver do absolutely nothing. So in Longhair's case the numbers he is seeing for skew don't matter and have nothing to do with his problem because he has a LNBF.

Your sig says you have a LNBF therefore the skew settings should not matter as long as you have selected LNBF in the menu. Options 6,3,2 and select the type of LNBF you have. On my 905 40 seems to be about the lowest that will bring in a usable signal. I'd try to get more signal as that would get pretty annoying if the weather is bad or something changes. It would suck to sub for a year and not be able to get the full use of the channels you've paid for.

Of all my input sources the 4DTV is definitely the best SD source I have, aside from the handful of analog on C-Band but it is still not comparable to a good quality Blu-Ray movie. In my case though my DSR905 does not have a S-video connection so I'm connected via composite video.
