    It made it into the national evening news too. At least no one was killed. The chopper could have had a direct link to the studio, so no satellites were used.

    I have the TBS6981 in a Windows machine. Never had a problem except that I shorted out and fried one of the ports. The 6925 is going to be my next purchase. I hope you can figure Linux out because I'd like to try that sometime.

    Same here. I've got no picture but good signal. I rescanned too, but no luck. Update: I have VGN and SJP, and VXF now, but no PRU or SJX.

    KU, C BANDSTACKED LNB COMBO

    I agree. That was the fist thing that came to mind when I bought my B1SATs. I just never got around to trying it out. I noticed on another C/Ku combo is that the Ku LNB had its own scalar ring in the deep back end of the C waveguide. It doesn't look like we could fit rings back of the B1.

    11' Dish and no Concrete

    More stable than what I did with a hole in the ground for my 10'. I have 2 SuperDISHes on portable mounts of which I take them to my grandma's for a few days and keep her neighbors guessing.
