Review of Titanium C138 LNBF to eliminate 5G Interference

Great explanation. I was not aware. I had that combo about ten years ago and worked great while it lasted. OK, then the C138 will be

    NOS HTS Actuator

My actuator was a 36" Digiwave. Both brushes were gone and one magnet came off. I checked Amazon and could not find the same brushes but close. I bought some brushes a little bit bigger and sanded them down to what I needed. I had to reuse the old springs because the ones that came with the new...

Solid 6' Vs. Mesh 8' BUD

That brings another good question; my old ( and excellent) C1 PLL failed and now is receiving only H channels, not V. I checked Titanium's web and only found the C1 "lite" and the C1W. My understanding is that none of them come with a filter for G, even though the C1 used to be built with one...

Solid 6' Vs. Mesh 8' BUD

Thanks for the tip. I live in a relatively new neighborhood with not too much room for really big BUDs. I actually own a 6 ft and was thinking to move one step up, to 8 ft. I think my wife and neighbors will not complain if I do the move from 6 solid to 8 mesh. I dont think I can go that far as...

Solid 6' Vs. Mesh 8' BUD

Hi Guys Is it true that solid 6 ft is as good as an 8 ft mesh dish? I sort of remember reading it somewhere or maybe it is something that someone told me.

    C/Ku Band Best LNB

Thanks Brian Good to hear that feedback from you. Saying so, I will keep one of the C1 as central LNB plus the second C1 offsetting as the circular polarization LNB. Any brand/model recommendation for the offset KU prime focus LNBF ? PD: Yes, the C1 outperforms the C/Ku DRO unit. And thank...

Hi Guys My C/Ku band LNB is death (sigh). Well, just the Ku but still.... I was searching locally in Toronto and found a cheap C/Ku but his performance is not too good. I miss my old DMS International LNB. Excellent. it was the unit with the Ku orange cover. Other LNB that I have been using...

    Save Our Cband

True, I was visiting a friend in South America the last year. I was on a small town and visited the site used to distribute cable TV , I was able to see al those BUD ( about seven) all pointing up ( funny, almost vertically) to the geostationary orbit. I witnessed also three or four LNB per...

    Save Our Cband

There is no such a small relative portion of the population using c-band, actually there is a huge portion of the public which directly or indirectly uses it; C-Band is the preferred way to link commercial broadcasters with many countries in the world, precisely for its wide cone; for example it...

Single output LNBF has more efficiency that Dual Output?

It could be a reason, it could be a matter of perception, it could be the time both units were tested. I personally lovedthe dual units and have never seen any difference in gain compared with a single unit. I personally don't see any technical reason to be better or worse. Hope it helps :)

    APTN Anik 107

"To improve signal quality and service, APTN will be upgrading its C band signal to Motorola (ARRIS) technology as of September 17, 2013. In preparation for this upgrade....." What a joke, upgrade, it sounds more like a donwgrade. An aboriginal channel that the aboriginal people ( and the rest...

Positioning of dielectric plate within C Band Lnb for SES 6

The right position is that in which the plate seems to be in the middle of the tips of the two elements (L&R) That will give you the R channels as right (V) and the left as left (H)

What size dish do I need to get 97W Legacy TV?

I am getting it with a 1.20 mt dish, however signal is not always good, I think a 1.30 from Fortec may be sufficient
