CSpan currently uses a Digicipher II combo mode mux on AMC 10. The mux includes CSpan HD and SD, CSpan2 HD and SD, and CSpan 3 HD and SD. SD is mpeg 2 video and HD is H.264 video. All channels are encrypted.

When I checked it a few days ago, it was in FP mode. But you would need a commercial DCII receiver such as Digitrans DTE 7150 to view it.

Thanks for posting this. I picked it up today. Only 20 miles from home. It's a 10 foot Unimesh with two Echostar lnbs. A small tear and a couple of small holes in the mesh, but fixable. It will replace my 10 foot Echostar X-10 dish which is useless for KU. The Unimesh should be much better.

When is the last time a broadcaster added a new Digicipher 2 mux? All new muxes are DVB-S2. 4dtv and combo mode DC2 are going the way of Videocypher and analog feeds.

Both 3800 and 4080 are working at this time on my 10 foot dish in Northern California. AMC 3 was replaced by SES 2. AMC 3 is now at 67° West with AMC 4 pointed at Central and South America.

The DC II mux is gone. Nothing showing on that transponder on the Broadlogic Spectrum Analyzer.

They are still on AMC 3, but they switched to DVB-S2. They are now HD. But they are all encrypted.

There are a few combo mode DCII signals on SES-1, but they are all encrypted. So your 4801 won't help you much.

EWTN HD is DVB-S2. A six foot dish might be too small to lock the signal.

3955 H 11.71 DCII 3/4 FEC (Coding Mode) Manual tune frequency is 1195.000 You should be able to lock the signal using manual tune, but unfortunately without the proper maps, you won't be able to view any of the channels.

T4 is 4dtv speak for Galaxy 28 at 89° West. Telstar 4 used to be at that location.

What Motorola DSR box did you get? It doesn't sound like anything a 4dtv can do. Is it a commercial receiver?

GB-410 on my 922 went OC last week. Since the maps were pulled from G1-3, there was no way to get a hit which fixed the OC problem before. So I decided to try the 66780 to see if it made any difference. My EMM changed to 0. I soon discovered that I couldn't receive any ZK or FP channels...
