Forcing me to login again is probably related to closing my MacBook, which disconnects from the Internet. This did not happen before--it would accept me again after having closed it all day. This means it is harder to pick up where you left off unless you login in a different window. Please...

It requested proceeded to ask if I wanted to leave the page. On yes, it logged me out. I have been having spurious logouts on many pages wen I leave for part of an hour. Never had this before. It is also not showing my avatar often. -Ken

I am logged in and I always press the small icon before the thread title to get to the next unread message. Now on every thread I try, it takes me to the first post--that's a pain to try to find where I left off. This has always worked in the past. I even tried logging out and back in, no help...

For Mac Safari people, you just need to go to its preferences and security panel, find "satellite" or so and remove all cookies selected. I haven't timed out yet, so we'll see if this works without a reboot. -Ken

It used to be that I could go to sleep or be away for quite a while, maybe more than 24 hours. I would come back and still be logged into the boards. Now if away for even 3 hours, I have to re-login, putting my password out there more ofter. -Ken
