I'm seeing a lot of programs on Rush HD that I don't remember airing before on Dish (but I do recall on the old Voom):

1/05 2 pm Hands (sp) of Fatima
1/05 9 p.m. Kirkwood
1/06 4 a.m. On a Single Breath
1/06 5 a.m. The Core
1/6 12 p.m. World Super Pipe

Any of these seem new or do we remember them from before? (All Old Voomers remember these... )

How does it feel to start posting Listings for VOOM again? You did such a great job in "the good old days"! Sure hope for the best with the NEW VOOM. I would never had taken on DISH too, if it was not for their promise to run with it. Now lets see if my investment as a subscriber this past year starts to pay off. HAPPY NEW YEAR VOOM!

Again Sean thanks for your devotion in the past and now concerning VOOM programing.

Whats with all the old movies on all the Voom channels, can't they get newer movies. I mean the old ones were great, but been there done that! Give us some NEW NEW programming!!

The way I understand it, that's what HBO and Showtime are for.

Hey, new content on Voom.

It only took them 8 months.

Better late than never. If January had come and gone with no new Voom content I was planning on dumping Voom -- which would have made me sad as I was an old original Voom service subscriber.

I guess once MPEG4 gets going sometime in 2006 we'll be back to full tilt HD, rather than HD-lite.

I believe the PG played us again as fools. I was expecting the following movies today but I checked Executioners this morning and it was not it. Instead one of the episodes of Zatoichi was playing. Hoping that the other movies are not fake stuff. The same happen with the two cartoon on January lists - fakes! I recorded them and it was playing something else. Why is it so difficult to keep an accurate PG on these channels . This is no something new but something that has plagued these channels for a long long time.

If you spot more missinformation about the above, please post on this thread and let us know what is playing instead. I made space on my DVR to record and now that space will be wasted with repeats. Me the Fool!!!!

Funky, it does have to be that new. why doesn't voom show programming similar to what's on TNT or USA. those movies are old but not brand new either.

For this kind of movies you have to pay premium. Either in a form of high subscription fees (HBO) or in a form of commercials (TNT).
Remember, there are NO commercial breaks on VOOM channels!

Has the original Halloween already aired on Monsters? It is on tonight at 8:45 PM ET.

I was looking at Monsters HD for next Friday and they are playing Friday The 13th 1,2,4,5,6,8 and 9 but why not 3 or 7? They do have the rights to 3 and 7 so I think those should be added

I do not think they have the transfer done by then. They depend on whomever owns the movie to make the HD transfer available.

Last night I saw that Jackie Chan's Project A was playing in OAR. I thought that this movie aired previously cropped but I was wrong. The one that aired previously was Jackie Chan's Projec A2 in 1:85:1 format. Last night they had Jackie Chan's Project A which is a new one for this month. I remember that plenty of times the PG said Project A but it was Project A2 until last night.

Upconverted movies on VOOM?
