I am scheduled to have the 5 LNB installed on 7/29. My 3 LNB dish is mounted on a tripod on my roof. Am I correct in my belief that the new dish will not fit the existing tripod? If not any advice on what I should do?

You are correct, the size required for the AT-9 is a 2" mast, you could purchase a adaptor pole from one of the forum sponsors.
I would not reccomend a tripod set up for the AT-9 (32 lbs.)
