508 Guide Problems

Is anyone having trouble downloading the program guide in the 508? My progress indicator goes up 'bout 1/2 way then it freezes. I can't use my guide because it wants to download every time I press the button.

Have you tried a hard reset on the receiver? Hold down the power button on the front of the 508 for about 10 seconds. The receiver will reboot and you should be good to go.

I had the same problem the other day...a hard reset (hold down the power button until it goes off) did the trick
