622 Recording more than just the new episodes

I was wondering if anyone has had this issue... I record the new episode of Mythbusters every Wednesday night. I told my DVR to only record only new episodes of this. Well, it contines to record every episode from that day for the rest of the week, until a new episode, then it starts recording the next week's, then so on... It does it on a few other shows as well, but has always done this with Mythbusters and has ever since I got the 622. I have deleted and created a new timer multiple times and still having issues. And there is only one Mythbusters timer in the sequence.

Anyone know what's up with this?



(I know, at least I get the show, but 5 shows in a week, takes up way too much space on the old HD)

It will do this if there is not a valid date AND episode number. It errs on the side of safety. does this show have both?

Yes, it shows the episode number 210 and date is 04-29-09. Tomorrow (wed) episode is showing up 2 times on the record list for tomorrow... because discovery airs it twice a night for each coast.
