Looks like I'll be upgrading to Dish HD. I have a couple of questions about the current HD DVRs.
I can't get over the air programming, so that's not an issue. Right now I have one DVR and one non-DVR box for the two TVs in my house, which works fine.
I do like snazzy new interfaces and the chance of major software upgrades the 922 represents but I don't have much use for the slingbox stuff, at least as i understand it - though programming my DVR from the road does seem useful.
So, given all that, any advice? Are people still having problems with the 922 missing recordings? Any chance the 922 will be upgradeable to Google TV or will that be a whole different box?
I am currently month to month and don't want to lock in a new contract if it means I have to miss out on the Google TV thing.
