I've been noticing this for a little while and it seems to be just locals as far as I can tell. I was just watching SNL and the image is stretched beyond the edge and is some of it is not visible. My TV is a 36 inch Sony (4:3). If I switch to cable input (Comcast), the image is wide screen and it's all there. If I change my TV from "auto" 16:9 to "on" 16:9, the image is all there. The odd thing is it doesn't happen all the time.
