721 - Lost Signal on Tuner 1

Last night a message appeared on the screen "Lost signal on channel 33089 (???) Transponder 16, Tuner 1 Press up or down channel button"

I switched to tuner 2 and all was fine for about 1/2 hour then the message came back saying tuner 2 lost signal also. About a 1/2 hour later both tuners were back and fine for the rest of the night.

Now this morning tuner 1 went out again!! Tuner 2 is fine so far.

Any ideas or is it going dead

It could have been a nearby storm causing the signal to go out. Some transponders will have a higher signal strength than the other ones so when it rains the weaker transponders will lose the signal lock first.

I see that you are from the Virgin Islands. In the past I know that some customers outside the continental U.S. would post about having problems with certain transponders going out due to being on the fringe of the signal where sometimes certain transponders go out and other times they are fine.
I am not sure if this is what is happening in this situation or not though.
