I know I posted this in the installers forum but I posted it here too since the installer zone is pretty dead and I need help now.
I seem to have a problem with 722's and the 1000.4 dish. Twice in the last 30 days I have had to install a 722 and use the 1000.4 dish and for hours I try to get the receiver to recognize the 77, 72.7 and the 61.5 sats. Most of the time I can get the receiver to recognize the 61.5 but rarely the 77 and never the 72.7. I hook up my test receiver (311) and tune the dish off of that. get the 3 sats showing then hook up the 722. Switch test then is all messed up on the 722. or Sats not in the right slot. After trying for 5 hours yesterday I gave up and hooked up a 1000.2 dish and had the system up and running in 10 minutes. I tried to get the 722 to download with the 61.5 showing in the third slot but gave up after 45 minutes because it would not download. What am I doing wrong? the 722 did have the "@" symbol on the box. BTW I tried 2 other 722's with the same results.
