I have everything connected correctly from my 811 to my bigscreen which has an integrated HD tuner. My 811 is connected using the dish composite cables which came with the 811. I would go the DVI route but my TV does not have a DVI in. The picture looks 300% better color wise by using a straight S video cable. When in HD viewing a channel in 1080i the screen is much darker with a terrible yellow tint. The colors are very dim and barely stand out.

Any suggestions??

Bad cable?

If you meant component not composite cables (composite has a single connection, component has three) You may have them connected incorrectly if you are not getting the appropriate colors or one connection maybe bad..

You may also need to tweak the picture when in 1080i mode if you have never had a 1080i image before. Tint/contrast/etc.
