811 Versus 6000 OTA comparison thread.

I took advantage of the $ 149 offer on the 811. (Thanks info Scott, made my donation earlier today because of it.)

But I am very interested in whether the OTA DTV is improved in the 811 versus the 6000.

I am hoping like hell it is. At my location I am getting terrible multipath that makes my strongest analog signal (CBS) unusable in digital the vast majority of the time, with the 6000.

So, those of you who have had them both lets hear it!

Huge improvement. ATSC tuner is much more sensitive on 811 and locks on solid even with a weaker signal. Navigating through channels and guide is super fast w/no problems. I'm very pleased with this so far. Waiting for locals info to become available, though.

I should get mine next Thursday - one cancellation so far - and maybe it will work better for me also.
