How would I activate my distant nets with the Hopper ? Do I need to give them the Receiver Models/Smart Card Numbers for each of my Joeys and of course each of my Hoppers or would they need just the information from the Hoppers?
I recently had my 922 replaced. I called a gave Distant Networks the numbers of the 922. I also have a 722k, never gave them the numbers and the channels show up on the 722k guide also. Maybe once size fits all, or maybe the Hopper and Joey's are different.
This indeed seems to be the case. When I finished my install last week, I called in and gave AAD both Hoppers' and all four Joeys' numbers. But yesterday, after I replaced a defective Joey, the new Joey was able to watch the AAD channels even though I had not called in its numbers.
