Indeed. I guess this means Steve Physioc is back. If he declines, what will they do.

Such a sad story, Rory was a great announcer and he wasn't very old.

He is the one with the famous call, "Just another Angels/Halos victory"

Like Vinny, he wasn't a big homer. He called it like it was, even if it was great for the other team. Here is a clip of the 3 calls of the Yankees beating the Angels to win the Pennant last year. Rory had the best call of all of them (I hate to say this, but Sterling had the worst call and it is his own team)

RIP Rory. Even as a Dodgers fan, I can say he was one of the best voices on radio.

I enjoyed Rory's voice quality and enthusiasm on the air, he knew how to use the microphone,
and brought plenty of life to Angels radio.

54 is too young to die.

Condolences to the Markas family and all you hardcore and casual Angel fans.

this stinks. TJ, I hope they don't go with Physioc. He's cheap and probably the only oneavailable, but he's just awful.

Bill MacDonald? Paul Sunderland?

Too late to sign a "big name" I would think.
