As expected, apple has acquired the f1 rights

First never had apple TV so I have some questions for present subscribers

I have read no dvr is that correct?

How long after a live sport showing can you accesses it?

Exempla I dvr (DIRECTV) the race say at 1:00 am then I view it at 8:00 am is this possible?

If they're offering parity with the F1 service, you'll have DVR.

I don't see how they can offer it without it, given the global nature of the motorsport. I watch all but the US races on a delay because they're overnight.

It doesn't work without it.

there's no traditional DVR. it's not needed. It will function the same way Apple does Friday baseball games - it's a live stream that you can join in progress and then, if you miss the event, you can rewatch it later like you would any show.

If I read this correctly, it includes F1TV Premium, so you can theoretically use the live broadcast trick-play via the F1TV app, assuming they don't disable it for US ATV subscribers:

F1 TV Premium, F1's own premier content offering, will continue to be available in the U.S. via an Apple TV subscription only and will be free for those who subscribe.
