I'm looking for information on upgrading my 811 from ATT/DISH to the new 211 and also interested to know if anyone has been able to do so and receive the new HD channels as well?

I was able to get a 211 to replace my 811 with ATT/Dish. Notice that I never said upgrade. When I called back (5 times) in early Feb. they told me that there wasn't any upgrade promotion for the 211 but they could replace the 811 with a 211 for $99.99. 
I took the offer.
You may want to call and ask. At the end of Feb. I got a flyer from ATT/Dish that had the new HD channels so they probably have some kind of upgrade path now.
